Shopaholic - Should have gone shopping rather than read this!

I picked this book at a Bali resort during a holiday. I had watched an enjoyed the first film of this series so felt the book would be enjoyable. However it was the run of the mill romcom chiclit. The cliches were so tacky that it reminded of ever chick flick from Hollywood. A poor rich bride in NYC with a shopping addiction. She is only a personal shopper but is literally getting the richest Manhattan template wedding. I would have said ok this would have been a better film but probably the worst script ever. Predictable one shaded weak characters. The bad is bad and the good is good, and despite all the emotions there was nothing authentic about it. 

After a 100 pages I gave it up. Life is too precious to waste on a bad book. Have you recently dumped a book or managed to drag thru it to finish it. Either way you have won.
