To run a bookshop!

And one day, 

it shall come true! 

A bookshop close to my dream is Kitabkhana, akka 'Home for Books'. It is located in the heart of Fort, Mumbai just next to Flora Fountain. The aesthetically designed and conceptualised bookshop is definitely the work of a book lover. Truely a place of book lover, by book lover and for book lover. 

The row after row, lane after lane, and shelf after shelf of books carry a range of genres, languages and literature. 

The walls adorn faces of some of the famous Indian and foreign authors paying tribute to the legends. 

There is a small cafe nestled in a corner serving tea, coffee, cookies and cakes. There are posters of the classic Hollywood films which add the vintage aura. What makes the deal sweater is that you can take the books inside and read while you eat and drink. Perfect combo of bookish and foodie. 

And in the middle of it all a book launch was on with an intellectual discussion between the famous Mumbai literary figures - Shanta Gokhale and Jerry Pinto. 

This is what dreams are made of. Everything a book lover needs is there in this book shop. Just go and get lost in the book wonderland called Kitabkhana.
